She ran through some game-based diagnostic activities that our little boy enjoyed. He couldn’t stop talking about the monster match activity before he slept!
Customized instruction. After our first session, Tutor Aya not only asked us what our son’s school curriculum was but also about his interests. We can see that there are already preset lessons, but I appreciate the effort in making our son’s session more engaging and customized. Tikoy likes cars, trains, and elevators. She can incorporate this in side talks or in the discussion next time.
Professional tutors. The first few minutes will tell you that Chalkboard’s tutors have excellent professional training or experience. Tutor Aya has a way with small kids. There was a good mix of timing and variety in delivering the lesson. One hour with a 5-year-old can be difficult as their attention span is short. Tikoy finished the session and still looks forward to the next one.
