2-Hour Coco Candy Making Workshop at South Farm Panglao

Going along with nostalgia, we booked the 2-hour coco candy making workshop at South Farm Panglao. Coco Candy is a local treat that has many renditions (and names!) throughout the Philippines. Its main ingredients are freshly squeezed pure coconut milk and muscovado sugar. It was an interesting tutorial that taught us the techniques, from cooking to wrapping, and using eco-friendly tools.

Half-way through the session, they served a traditional bibingka (rice cake) with watermelon smoothies.

After the workshop, we visited other areas of the farm and interacted with the animals. We finished our South Farm day tour with an afternoon snack at Uma Cafe, one of its in-house restaurants.

Tips: Maximize your South Farm Experience

1. Book ahead through Klook or their Facebook page.

2. Come early to make the most of the day tour.

3. A minimum of 2 participants is required to book the coco candy workshop.

It was great to have other activities in Bohol besides swimming, island hopping, and countryside tours. An agrifarm experience was a unique activity perfect for kids and families.
