I probably speak for many people when I say the reels on MIST (an Instagram-famous aesthetic, modern Filipino cuisine restaurant in Bohol) cannot be ignored. It’s the top search result whenever I Google “Restaurants in Bohol Philippines” and there were plenty of user-generated content that flooded my feed.

Naturally, I saved the location for my Panglao Dining folder. I listed it as a must-try restaurant on our trip to the island.

MIST Restaurant Bohol – Review

Disclaimer: we didn’t order all of their most recommended dishes as we’re a small family and didn’t have space to keep leftovers.

Mist Bohol serves the vibe and offers plenty of seats, so it wasn’t too crowded even for dinner. The staff was friendly and gave impeccable service, which added so much to the experience. Portions were huge and perfect for sharing and serving family meals.

The complimentary bread was pillowy and comes with herbed butter. It’s a nice starter while we wait for our orders. Tacos came highly recommended.

These dinner rolls were so fluffy!

They were huge and packed with shredded cabbage and topping. However, the dressing was too sweet for our liking, and we felt that its mayo-heavy mix was overpowering.

We didn’t like the tacos 😦 It was too mayonnaisey

But we were satisfied with the pyro chicken, served with a flourish and sizzling as we ate. It was moist and tender, topped with creamy gravy; it must be eaten with rice.

Is this Instagram-famous restaurant in Bohol worth it? Here's our honest review.
The Pyro Chicken was tasty and juicy.

The dessert was mid, but we imagine it would be much better if they used good dark chocolate.
